Bluntly speaking? Blades of Glory may require diapers (for those who don’t normally wear them) to view.

You have to respect a film that will go over the edge and not be afraid to offend. Not that BoG necessarily offends but it dares to try…

Rival figure skaters Chazz Michael Michaels (Will Ferrell) and Jimmy MacElroy (Jon Heder) battle on the ice – literally. For the fisticuffing affair they are banished from men’ skating forever.

Chazz - who is basically a rock star on skates with a oozing heading-towards-Meatloaf body to match his sleazstack sex-appeal - now works at a C-Grade Icecapades. He's flobbling around a kid’s show as a character in a fairy play.

Jimmy - who was disowned by his filthy rich adoptive father immediately after the ban - now works various low-end retail jobs. His stalker still hoping to one day dress up in his skin at a party...

Both are not doing too well post ice skating glory.

Their old coach (Coach’s Craig T. Nelson) finds a loop hole in the pro-skater bookies. He discovers teams don’t have to be made up of a man and a women. So, if Chazz and Jimmy can stop hating each other long enough to work out a super technical routine, they may make it back to the top.

Hilarious is put in front of plot here – but you won’t mind a bit.

The high energy narcissistic Ferrell character bounces off the sloth-like Abba-esque Heder’s character. Both ricochet and pummel your funny bone!

Their nemeses Will Arnet and Amy Poehler play over-loving siblings Stranz and Fairchild Van Waldenberg. They are, shall we say, really into each other. While "The Office’s" Jenna Fisher has a nice off TV role as the dangerously naïve un-skating little sister, Katie.

Look for Blunt fave William Fictner in a brief-but-cool rich dad in mink.

Blades of Glory is a hoot. And keep an eye wandering around the coach's house for added set decorator’s giggles.

Snack recommendation: Sno-cones.
